Welcome to the home of Karraguls!

Karraguls are a sophont comprising of two species - Inland and Coastal. They inhabit built structures and practice some agriculture, though they mainly depend on wild "fish" and "worms"*. They are known for having symbiotic relationships with the giant fungi-like organisms that sprout on their planet.

The planet itself has a similar atmosphere to Earth, but slightly lower gravity and different ratios of minerals; copper is far more abundant compared to iron, so the dominant forms of life have copper-based oxygen carriers and storage molecules. This makes their blood and flesh blue-tinted. The high amounts of copper also mean that typical soil ranges from bluish-green to almost black, and nutrient-rich parts of the oceans turn an extremely vivid blue.

*These organisms are not technically fish or worms, but fill similar niches or have similar body plans to their terrestrial counterparts.
