Welcome to the home of Karraguls!

Karraguls are a sentient alien race, consisting of two species that share the same label. They inhabit built structures and practice some agriculture, though they mainly depend on wild fish*. They are known for having symbiotic relationships with the giant fungi-like organisms that sprout on their planet.

The planet itself has a similar gravity and atmosphere to Earth, but different ratios of minerals. Copper is far more abundant compared to iron, so the dominant forms of life have copper-based oxygen carriers and storage molecules. This makes their blood and flesh blue-tinted. The high amounts of copper also mean that typical soil ranges from bluish-green to almost black, and nutrient-rich parts of the oceans turn an extremely vivid blue.

*These organisms are not technically fish, but fill a similar niche to Earth fish.
